I want you here by my side. I miss you so much. Without our connection what's the point. Without you making my nerves tingle, I feel nothing. I need you here by my side now. Who are you--Do I even know? It doesn't matter because you've touched my heart and that's all I need. My heart has been alone for so long, but now you hold it in your hands..please don't drop it? So come sit here by my side, tell me what you're thinking---stay with me until the sunrises, and then we can go run around town, taking pictures of the people we'll never be. We'll sit on the bridge at noon and feed the ducks nothing because haven't you heard? We could kill them with our bread. Life shouldn't be wasted. Every living thing on earth deserves a chance. So instead of feeding the ducks, we'll watch them dip their heads into the water and swim around with the ripples following them. And when the sun starts to disappear behind the purple mountains, we'll drive to the top of them and stare at the stars until we fall asleep. But while your sleeping I'll wake up, and watch you lie there, so innocent and pure. I imagine the things that we could be together, the places we could go....the things we could see. Italy, with its food, or Paris, with its lights. Anywhere is somewhere with you. I won't think about how our story will end, because it won't. How can it? How can I wake up in the morning without you by my side? How can I smile with you gone? Please stay here by my side. Don't leave me. Don't let me push you away. Because I need you. Don't you need me? Don't you need me to sit by you? To comfort you, to heal you? How could you not, when I need you this much? Is this path only one way....am I really, lost but feel found? After all we're only human, just because i feel one way doesn't mean you have to. But you HAVE to, because i DO. Right? Please say you need me. You need me, and I need you. We need each other. But if you don't need me, I'll still want you to sit here by my side. If you don't need me to comfort and heal you, I'll still always need you. If you need someone else, i'll travel the world alone. But remember: I'll still always need you here by my side, taking pictures of the people we'll never be, sitting on the bridge, watching the ducks, and staring at the stars.
